Data Type: Float (Optional)
Either a Float number (ie not an integer), or the variable can be omitted. If the value is a string, the function will attempt to convert it to a number, using the part of the string from the start to the first non-numeric character (ie not one of 0123456789+-*/^).
This variable is typically used in real estate rental functions to model the fact that many rental streams, at review, review to less than the "market" rent, depending on the specific wording of the rent review clause. Deprecated behaviour prior to Version 1.28 22 Oct 2004 Prior to the introduction of ØUOToggleØ, it was also used to determine if you want the rental stream to be "upwards only", meaning that the rent at each review should be equal to or exceed that at the previous review. This can be achieved by specifying a negative value of this value. So a value of -10% means a 10% reduction to headline "market" rent review, but upwards only, ie even after the discount it must be equal or greater than the rent ate the previous review. A value of 10% implies the same discount upon review, but it will allow the rent to decrease if indeed the rent is less than at the previous review. Note the following key points:
The correct way to specify upwards only from version 1.28 onwards is to use the ØUOToggleØ parameter.
