System Requirements
  • Windows 98 or greater
  • Excel 97, 2000, XP or 2003
  • 256MB RAM + recommended
  • 25MB Hard Disc space
'User Requirements'
  • Basic understand of Excel's own functions desirable.
  • Solid familiarity with formulas, cell references.
  • To get the best out of the functions, some financial knowledge is useful. The typical profile of a financial analyst is ideal.
  • Nice to have: basic knowledge of the existence of array formulas.
What Business Functions is
  • The function library, Trace and GoalSeek are a compiled C++ XLL (also known as a DLL or dynamic link library), built using the Excel Software Development Kit (SDK).
  • The menus, function finder, utilities etc are written in Excel VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
  • The examples are Excel workbooks compatible with Excel 97 or greater.
